Siliguri Model High School (SMHS) follows a structured process for all financial transactions. The following policy outlines the terms regarding refunds and cancellations for school fees, admission charges, and other related payments.
Payment Gateway Refund Policy
In the event of a cancellation or withdrawal, refunds will be processed strictly in accordance with the Siliguri Model High School management rules and applicable educational board guidelines.
Refund Processing
Electronic & Manual Transfers: All approved refunds will be processed via Electronic Fund Transfer (NEFT/RTGS/IMPS) or issued through Account Payee Cheques.
Designated Accounts: To ensure security and compliance, refunds will strictly be transferred only to a bank account held in the name of the Parent/Guardian or the Student as per school records. No third-party transfers will be permitted.
No Automatic Gateway Reversals: While funds can be transferred electronically, there will be no automatic reversal of payments back to the original credit/debit card or net banking source through the payment gateway. Parents must provide valid bank account details to the school office to facilitate the transfer.
Transaction Costs: Any transaction fees, convenience charges, or processing costs levied by the payment gateway or bank at the time of payment are non-refundable. Any additional costs incurred during the refund process will be borne by the payer.
